Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in New Orleans seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead a spectrum of geotechnical projects, supervise field exploration and lab testing, and deliver analyses and reports for clients.

The successful candidate will hold a Louisiana P.E. license and a Master’s or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering, with proven project management and mentoring capabilities, and a strong grasp of local site conditions and design practices.

Qualifications

• Louisiana P.E. license required.
• Master’s or PhD in Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience planning, supervising field exploration and lab testing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise field exploration and laboratory testing programs.
• Conduct geotechnical analyses and develop engineering recommendations.
• Write detailed reports and present findings to clients.
• Consult with clients and coordinate with project teams.
• Mentor and supervise staff and junior engineers.
