Job summary

You will review boring logs, perform foundation and settlement analyses, and prepare practical recommendations for shallow and deep foundations, earthwork, and pavements, collaborating directly with clients and field teams.

Qualifications

• Texas PE license or ability to obtain promptly.
• 10+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of Gulf Coast/Houston geology and soil conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical projects from proposal through final report and construction support.
• Develop boring programs and coordinate field investigations.
• Review logs, lab results, groundwater and subsurface data.
• Perform geotechnical analyses and develop practical design recommendations.
• Prepare and review geotechnical reports.
• Coordinate with clients, drillers, labs, contractors and project teams.
• Sign and seal engineering work within your responsible charge.
