Job summary

AECOM's West Region is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join the Los Angeles Geo-Civil team. You will support projects from planning through construction and assist with project management and business development for the local team.

The role requires leading field exploration, supervising geotechnical design, and mentoring junior engineers while coordinating with multiple disciplines. A California PE license or eligibility is required.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering with 6+ years of experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• California PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead field exploration and tests (borings, CPT, geophysical work).
• Supervise geotechnical design and construction activities.
• Manage projects, budgets, and client communications.
• Mentor junior engineers and support proposals.
