Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining or Geologic Engineering.
• Professional engineering (PE) license is required.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience.
• Domestic and/or international travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Design excavation, dewatering, foundations, dams, and geo‑environmental projects.
• Create engineering designs of varying complexity.
• Review designs for regulatory compliance and client requirements.
• Perform site reviews and soil sampling analyses.
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff.

Skills

Computer-assisted design and drafting (CADD) 3D and 4D software

Engineering principles of design

Microsoft business software (Excel, Word)

Verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical, Civil, Mining or Geologic Engineering

Professional engineering (PE) license
