Certerra is seeking an experienced, licensed Professional Engineer to join our geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing team in Hollywood, FL. The candidate will bear independent responsibility for technical quality, accuracy, and code compliance of geotechnical deliverables.

The role requires strong technical judgment in geotechnical design, familiarity with CMT, and the ability to mentor junior staff while managing client-facing projects.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• Active Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 5–10 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with construction materials testing (CMT).
• Experience with deep foundation systems and helical piles preferred.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, LPile, and geotechnical software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for client-facing work.

Responsabilidades

• Sign and seal geotechnical reports and deliverables per licensure.
• Manage geotechnical operations for residential developments and foundations.
• Oversee CMT activities to meet ASTM/ACI/local codes.
• Supervise engineers and field technicians, ensuring accuracy.
• Prepare and review geotechnical reports, analyses, and proposals.
• Perform foundation design with AutoCAD, LPile, and related tools.
• Interpret subsurface data and develop site recommendations.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
