Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, geology, or a related field from an ABET-accredited university; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Professional Engineering license in New York, or ability to obtain licensure; other professional certifications (NICET, ACI, etc.) are a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant geotechnical engineering experience
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical reports and proposals.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to work outdoors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals aligned with client needs and project objectives.
• Coordinate daily scheduling of staff for field and laboratory assignments.
• Organize and oversee geotechnical field investigations and analyze subsurface data.
• Prepare technical reports and recommendations; interface with clients and project teams.
• Assist with recruitment and retention of staff.
