Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Professional Engineer with 5 years of experience in geostructural and construction engineering in New York City, NY.

This role focuses on financial and technical evaluation, concept design, permitting, and construction phases for challenging projects serving heavy-civil, geotechnical, and environmental sectors. The candidate will perform geotechnical site characterization, prepare reports and drawings, conduct field inspections, and travel within the NYC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (ABET-accredited) is required.
• Advanced degree in Civil Engineering is preferred.
• NYS Professional Engineer license is preferred.
• 5+ years of geotechnical/geostructural design and construction experience required.
• Experience with geotechnical special inspections in NYC metro area preferred.
• Strong writing and communication skills required.
• Valid US driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsabilités

• Geotechnical and geostructural analyses for temporary/permanent support systems.
• Design optimization and value engineering.
• Geotechnical site characterization.
• Prepare reports, calculations, drawings, specifications, bids, and permits.
• Fieldwork including inspections; travel up to 20%.
• Drive to client or project sites as needed.
