SOCOTEC-Campbell Hall, NY is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our NY geotechnical team. The role involves coordinating field investigations, analyzing subsurface data, preparing technical reports, and interfacing with clients to ensure quality service.

Work may include outdoor sites and travel. Requirements include ABET‑accredited degree in civil engineering or geology, NY PE or eligibility, 5+ years of geotechnical experience, and a valid driver's license; this is a full‑time, in‑person

Qualifications

• 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, technical writing, and communication skills.
• Experience preparing and reviewing technical reports and proposals.
• Professional Engineering license in New York, or ability to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scopes, budgets, and proposals.
• Coordinate daily scheduling for field and laboratory assignments.
• Oversee geotechnical field investigations and analyze subsurface data.
• Prepare technical reports and construction-level documents summarizing findings.
• Interface with clients and project teams to maintain relations.
