Fugro USA is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in California to provide geotechnical engineering support across projects of moderate to complex scope, including field investigations, analyses, design, and reporting.

The role emphasizes client engagement, proposals, and reporting to deliver safe, high‑quality, and commercially effective projects.

A California PE is required; GE is preferred. Salary: $125,000–$155,000 per year, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without restrictions.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in geotechnical engineering consulting, including site investigations, analyses, and report preparation.
• Experience interpreting subsurface data and developing geotechnical recommendations for infrastructure projects.
• PE license in California is required; GE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide geotechnical engineering support across projects of moderate to complex scope.
• Support field investigations, data analysis, design, proposals, reporting, and client engagement.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality and commercially effective project outcomes.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, specifications, and client deliverables.
• Lead or support project tasks and manage multiple concurrent projects.
