Fugro's Southern California group seeks a California-licensed Senior Geologist to lead medium-size site investigations and geo-hazard evaluations in compliance with California regulations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or geology from accredited college or university required; master’s degree in engineering or geology from an accredited college or university highly preferred.
• California Professional Geologist (PG) License required, Certified Engineering Geologist (C.E.G.) License preferred.
• Have 7 years or more of geology, field investigation and project management experience required.
• Strong understanding and knowledge of geotechnical engineering, geology, and related disciplines; capable of field and office work.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold Quality, Health & Safety, Security, and environmental values.
• Manage, direct and execute medium-size projects from technical and commercial perspectives.
• Design, implement, and supervise field exploration programs and site characterization studies.
• Write technical reports and demonstrate proficient writing and verbal communication skills.
• Provide technical review of reports and proposals.
• Assign duties to the project team and monitor progress.
