Job summary

Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) has an opening for a dynamic Entry-Level Geotechnical Engineer in our growing Geotechnical Group. You will contribute to the design-build delivery of infrastructure projects and work alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Based in Lone Tree, CO, you will perform engineering analyses, assist with subsurface investigations, and produce reports under supervision. Requirements include a Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, FE/EIT, and 0–2 years of

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Geotechnical Engineering or closely related field; GPA above 3.0 preferred.
• 0-2 years of post-graduate geotechnical engineering experience.
• Passed the FE/EIT examination in the United States.
• Strong knowledge of soil mechanics, rock mechanics, groundwater hydrology, and geotechnical design for heavy civil construction.
• Experience in design of foundations, slope stability, seismic engineering, or related geotechnical tasks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide project support during proposals and design phases with engineering analyses.
• Work on design-build and EPC projects, developing design recommendations and deliverables.
• Perform subsurface investigations, field testing, and construction oversight.
• Produce engineering reports, drawings, and calculation packages.
