Job summary

Terracon, a leader in geotechnical services, seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support dams, levees, flood control, and water resources projects in Northern and Central California. This seller-doer and technical leader will expand geotechnical offerings for embankment dams, levees, floodwalls, and related infrastructure, working from multiple CA offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required; Master’s preferred.
• 8–11 years of relevant experience in geotechnical engineering.
• California PE registration required; GE registration strongly preferred.
• Experience with dam, levee, flood control, water resources projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations and analysis for dams and levees.
• Develop subsurface exploration programs and interpret data.
• Prepare design recommendations, plans and specifications.
• Support construction observation, testing, and field reports.
• Mentor staff and coordinate with Terracon offices in Northern/Central California.
