The position requires 12+ years in geotechnical/CMT and a PE or PG license, with senior oversight of subsurface exploration, reports, and lab quality systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Active PE or PG license.
• 12+ years in geotechnical engineering or CMT.
• Experience as final reviewer of reports and calculations.
• Proven leadership and client-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as final technical reviewer and Engineer-of-Record for reports and calculations.
• Provide senior oversight of subsurface exploration programs.
• Review geotechnical reports, foundation and pavement recommendations, earthwork and site grading.
• Lead technical guidance for CMT operations and interpretation of test results.
• Support laboratory management and quality systems.
• Partner with project managers on scope, assumptions, risks in proposals and projects.
• Mentor engineering staff through coaching and training.
• Participate in client meetings offering technical solutions.
• Contribute to local business development and client relationships.
