Job summary

gpac partnered with an award-winning A&E firm seeking an experienced Geotechnical Engineer to lead design and analysis for bridges, buildings, dams and levees, across the region. This full-time, direct-hire role blends technical leadership with project delivery and mentorship, offering exposure to high-profile projects and a collaborative team.

Requirements include 8+ years of geotechnical experience, Ohio PE or ability to obtain within 6 months, and travel flexibility.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of geotechnical experience with dams, levees, and/or large bridge foundations.
• PE in the state of Ohio or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with ODOT projects desired.
• Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
• Available for occasional short-term travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical design and analysis for bridges, buildings/ structures, dams and levees.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical work.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
