Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in Baton Rouge seeks a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead a range of geotechnical projects, supervise field exploration and lab testing, and provide engineering analyses and recommendations to clients.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering and a Louisiana P.E. license (or ability to obtain). Strong communication and project management skills are essential for success in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree specializing in Geotechnical Engineering is required.
• Louisiana P.E. license (or ability to obtain) is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated project management experience.
• Knowledge of local subsurface conditions and regional design/construction practices is preferred.

SENIOR GEOTECHNICAL ENGINEER - Baton Rouge

Our Baton Rouge office has an opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work on a wide range of challenging geotechnical engineering projects, supported by staff/project engineers, including planning and supervising field exploration and laboratory testing programs, conducting geotechnical engineering analyses, developing recommendations, writing reports and consulting with clients.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will be technically superior, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, with demonstrated experience in project management. This position requires a Louisiana P.E. license (or the ability to obtain one) and a Master's degree specializing in Geotechnical Engineering. Knowledge of Southern Louisiana subsurface conditions and experience in design and construction practices in the area is preferred. In addition, specific experience pertaining to geotechnical analyses in regard to local governing agencies' requirements including LA DOTD, CPRA, etc. is a plus.
