Job summary

Ardaman & Associates, Inc. in Baton Rouge is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to lead a range of geotechnical projects. You will oversee field exploration, laboratory testing, analyses, and report writing while coordinating with staff and clients.

The ideal candidate holds a Louisiana P.E. license (or can obtain one) and a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering, with strong communication and project management skills. Louisiana subsurface knowledge is preferred.

Qualifications

• Louisiana P.E. license or ability to obtain is required.
• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering is required.
• Experience in project management is essential.
• Knowledge of Southern Louisiana subsurface conditions is preferred.
• Experience with geotechnical analyses for state/local agencies (LA DOTD, CPRA) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise field exploration and laboratory testing programs.
• Conduct geotechnical engineering analyses and develop recommendations.
• Write reports and consult with clients.
