Job description

We are seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer with 10+ years of experience delivering geotechnical solutions for bridges, dams, levees, and other major infrastructure. This role combines technical leadership, project delivery, and mentorship with opportunities to work on challenging, high‑profile projects across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead geotechnical design and analysis for bridges, buildings/structures, dams, and levees.
  • Oversee field investigations, inspections, and geotechnical reporting.
  • Mentor junior engineers and review technical work.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Support proposals and occasional marketing activities.
  • Ensure safety compliance and represent company values.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or geological engineering (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of geotechnical engineering experience, with expertise in dams, levees, and/or large bridge foundations.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in the U.S. (Ohio PE preferred).
  • Experience with ODOT projects and/or U.S. Army Corps of Engineers highly desired.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills.
  • Available for occasional short‑term travel.
