General Responsibilities:

In this role, you will provide engineering and consulting services for a broad array of projects and clients. This includes performing and/or leading field investigations, engineering analysis, calculations, recommendations, design and development of plans and specifications, observation and inspection, and report writing, preparation, and review. You will review drawings and construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications, prepare proposals and cost estimates, track and evaluate project progress and budgets, and recommend changes. Additionally, you will research and resolve design and construction problems, analyze laboratory or field data for reports, and communicate complex engineering issues to both technical and non-technical clients and project teams. Services may be provided for projects in public works, transportation, commercial, communications, energy, and industrial sectors.

Essential Roles And Responsibilities:
  • Lead safety efforts for the team, ensuring adherence to safety rules and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Monitor quality standards and promote continuous improvement on projects.
  • Develop understanding of project-related risks and company policies related to risk management.
  • Provide technical direction for routine and complex projects, including conceptual design and investigative approaches.
  • Review projects requiring complex investigation techniques and supervise analysis and recommendations in reports.
  • Lead technical training and make informed decisions on technology issues.
  • Participate in marketing, sales, and business development activities.
  • Supervise less experienced engineers and technical support personnel.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 8-11 years of experience.
  • Master’s degree in Engineering preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable violation history.
