Our client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to support a Department of Defense group on their Advisory and Assistance Support Services Contract. Directly integrated into client teams, their staff actively leverage their professional expertise toward the successful development and completion of Navy facilities design and construction projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic Region(s).

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide independent, timely, and professional support and consultation for the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of facilities for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other Supported Commands. This includes special projects, military construction (MILCON), demolition, maintenance, space utilization, missional studies, and facilities development.
• Conduct technical reviews and professional evaluations of DoD Mid-Atlantic design and construction projects. Generate review comments for electrical design proficiency in accordance with code standards for private A&E design submittals and In-House DoD design teams. Ensure review comments are created, appropriately recorded, and communicated in a timely and professional manner, ensuring comments and design concerns are identified, communicated, coordinated, resolved, and satisfactorily incorporated into the design record documents.

*This role is constructed as a 6-month Contract to Hire opportunity. Unlike other contract situations, this provides all benefits including Holiday and PTO.*
