As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer in New Albany, Indiana, you will lead geotechnical engineering projects from initiation to completion. You will manage project execution with an emphasis on safety, risk mitigation, quality control, and adherence to schedules. In this role, you will be responsible for geotechnical analysis, design, and implementation, ensuring project success while maintaining strong client relationships.
Build and develop a geotechnical team to conduct foundation and earthen structure analysis, site seismic assessments, and construction site inspections.
Oversee project management and billable responsibilities.
Communicate effectively with internal and external clients.
Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure efficiency and success.
A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering.
5+ years of experience in a Project Manager role.
A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
The ability to develop and grow business opportunities.
With the use of Company-provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
Outdoor, hands-on work in varying weather conditions, sometimes outside of normal business hours.
Lifting and carrying 40-50 lbs. of materials and equipment.
Travel, including overnight assignments, as necessary.
