This Geotechnical/Structural Engineering role involves investigations, design, and rehabilitation of structures, plus client-facing project leadership and peer reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant civil engineering experience.
• Professional licensure required.
• MS or PhD with Geotechnical or Structural focus from ABET-accredited university.
• Active affiliation with ASCE or geotech/structural organizations.
• Demonstrated advanced technical knowledge in the field.
• Ability to integrate work from several experts into solutions.
• Willingness to travel to out-of-state project sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare proposals with budgeting and staffing considerations.
• Plan work for supervisor approval and coordinate timelines.
• Tackle unusual problems with minimal guidance.
• Manage complex projects and supervise related work.
• Coach and supervise project staff and delegate tasks.
• Maintain direct client contact and nurture external relationships.
• Contribute to internal technical training.
• Draft complex letters, reports, specifications, and proposals.
• Lead technical discussions with clients and teams.
