Job summary

Clark Construction Group is seeking a Senior Estimator to oversee and develop cost estimates for geostructural projects, focusing on SOE, caissons, micropiles, and ground improvement. You will prepare bids for private and public clients using HeavyBid and industry knowledge.

You will collaborate with Operations and Engineering, review geotechnical data, and mentor junior staff while upholding Clark standards of excellence and safety. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years estimating experience in the heavy civil or specialty foundation industry.
• Expert-level knowledge of HCSS HeavyBid; proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office.
• Strong understanding of deep foundation and earth retention elements.
• Ability to clearly present estimated findings and project risks to executive leadership and clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of comprehensive estimates from initial takeoff to final bid submission, including hard bid, negotiated, and design-build delivery methods.
• Review geotechnical reports, boring logs, and structural drawings to determine drilling methods and shoring systems.
• Build and manage cost estimates within HeavyBid with accurate labor, equipment, and material allocations.
• Maintain historical cost data and production rates to improve bid accuracy.
• Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to optimize construction sequences and equipment spreads.
