Job summary

Schnabel Engineering is seeking a Senior-Level GeoStructural Engineer to support our national practice with a focus on the Philadelphia Area. You will be responsible for administering QA practices, managing technically complex projects, and performing review of design documents and calculations.

You will participate in multidisciplinary project teams, often involving multiple Schnabel offices. Our Geostructural group provides design of SOE systems, underpinning, geo-hazards, slopes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited four-year program.
• 15+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Pennsylvania or ability to acquire by reciprocity.

Responsibilities

• Detailed review and checking of construction documents including calculations, plans and specifications.
• Senior project management including contract negotiation and risk management.
• Review and preparation of proposals and engineering reports.
• Business development focused on the Philadelphia Area.
• Coordinating geostructural services with internal and external clients.
• Developing strong client relationships for repeat business.
• Other tasks as required to support projects and business goals.
