Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Senior Geospatial Technician. This role focuses on hands-on lidar processing and mapping across a diverse client portfolio, with accountability for production quality and client-facing communications.

You will manage production work, drive workflow improvements, and grow into leadership, mentoring teammates and guiding projects to on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in lidar processing and mapping.
• Ability to perform QC on own and others’ work.
• Proven production-management and time-management skills.
• Curiosity to refine and innovate geospatial workflows.
• Clear communication with clients about status and technical details.
• Interest in growing into project management and supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform lidar processing and mapping for multiple clients.
• Deliver production work to high quality and accuracy.
• Perform QC across the team’s output.
• Plan, prioritize, and track your own production to meet schedules.
• Identify improvements to geospatial workflows and processes.
• Work independently and with the production team.
• Communicate project status and technical details with clients as needed.
• Build client relationships through dependable delivery.
• Grow into task/project management, financial oversight, and supervision of direct reports.
