Job summary

Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects seeks a Senior Geospatial Technician to lead lidar processing and mapping for diverse client projects. You will deliver high-quality production work and perform QC across the team, taking ownership of production management and client communication.

As you demonstrate impact, you will grow into task and project management, financial oversight, and supervision of direct reports, mentoring teammates and guiding a developing team while collaborating

Qualifications

• Hands-on lidar processing and mapping experience.
• Ability to perform QC on own and others’ work.
• Self-starter with production-management skills.
• Curiosity to refine and innovate workflows.
• Clear communication with clients about status and technical details.
• Interest in growing into project management and supervisory responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform lidar processing and mapping for multiple clients.
• Deliver production work to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
• Perform QC across the team.
• Manage production: planning, prioritizing, and tracking work to meet schedules.
• Identify improvements to geospatial workflows and processes.
• Work independently while collaborating with the production team.
• Communicate project status and technical aspects with clients as needed.
• Build and strengthen client relationships through reliable delivery.
• Grow into task, project, financial management, and supervision of direct reports.
