Wilson & Company, Inc., Engineers & Architects is seeking a Senior Geospatial Technician. This role focuses on hands-on lidar processing and mapping across a diverse client portfolio, with accountability for production quality and client-facing communications.

You will manage production work, drive workflow improvements, and grow into leadership, mentoring teammates and guiding projects to on-time delivery.

Job description

The Senior Geospatial Technician is an experienced, hands-on technical role at the heart of our production team. You will work across a variety of lidar processing and mapping tasks, delivering high-quality geospatial products for a diverse portfolio of clients. Comfortable working both independently and alongside an established team, you set a high bar for quality—not only in your own production work but through quality-control functions you perform across the group. As a self-starter, you take ownership of production management, continually looking for ways to improve and innovate our workflows. You are also able and willing to discuss project status and technical details directly with clients, building lasting relationships through consistent, reliable delivery.

You will start as a technical expert and, as you demonstrate impact, take on progressively greater ownership—leading tasks and projects, managing budgets and delivery, mentoring teammates, and ultimately building and guiding a team of your own. What You’ll Do

• Perform lidar processing and mapping across a variety of tasks and projects for multiple clients.
• Deliver production work to a consistently high standard of quality and accuracy.

Annual Salary Range: $35 - $55 per hour depending on experience
