Job summary

VTG seeks an Expert Systems Engineer to lead multi-discipline requirements engineering for NSG/ASG and Federal Agencies in Chantilly, VA. You will guide analysis, architecture traceability, and cloud/workflow considerations across programs.

The role requires DoD/IC experience, lifecycle mastery, and active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Senior experts coordinate Senior- to Junior-level contractor engineers on major acquisitions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant technical/scientific field.
• Expert working experience in government or industry with DoD/IC Acquisition and Requirements processes.
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle and large complex System of Systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline requirements engineering across NSG/ASG/Federal Agencies.
• Plan and analyze requirements architectures, traceability, and cloud/workflow considerations.
• Advise Government on changes to designs based on requirements and new tech.
• Translate mission needs into system requirements and solutions.
• Support systems integration activities and AoAs/CoAs/Trade Studies.
• Lead strategic technical planning, risk management, and program interfaces.
