Job summary

Vibrint is seeking a highly skilled GIS Subject Matter Expert to lead geospatial data modeling, service publishing, and governance for government programs. The role focuses on enterprise geodatabases, topology, and scalable map services across cloud and on‑prem environments.

The candidate will translate complex spatial requirements into developer‑ready specifications, conduct QA/QC, and drive data standards and workflow governance. Security clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in creating, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise geodatabases and schemas.
• Ability to publish, tune, and troubleshoot map and feature services for reliability and performance.
• Translate spatial concepts into technical specifications for developers and vendors.
• Perform spatial QA/QC to ensure data integrity and cartographic standards.
• Document editing workflows, metadata, and enterprise data governance practices.
• Active TS/SCI clearance and eligibility for CI poly.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain geodatabase schemas, domains, subtypes, and relationship classes.
• Publish and optimize map services, feature services, and vector tiles across cloud/on‑prem environments.
• Translate geospatial requirements into technical specs for developers and vendors.
• Conduct spatial QA/QC, validate cartographic production, and ensure schema compliance.
• Document workflows, metadata standards, and data dictionaries; advise on governance.
