Vantor is seeking a qualified candidate for a GIS-focused role involving design, analysis, and development of geospatial capabilities. The role supports secure, data-driven solutions for mission operations and high-volume analysis in secure environments.

Responsibilities include GIS data analysis, database design, and integration of spatial data within enterprise systems. Active TS/CI Poly clearance is required; work location includes Joint Base Anacostia in Arlington, VA or Reston, VA.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in GIS or related field with 4-7 years of experience.
Experience with GIS software and spatial data analysis.
Develops geospatial applications and performs complex GIS analyses to support intelligence requirements.
Active Top Secret clearance with CI Polygraph.

Responsibilities

Design, analyze and develop geo-spatial solutions and product specifications for infrastructure, hydrographic and physiographic features for global geo-spatial images and vector products.
Performs geographic information systems (GIS) analyses on natural resources data.
Plans, designs, develops, documents and analyzes spatial and relational databases.
Applies software to manage spatial and related tabular data.
Builds databases by capturing map information with coordinate digitizer.
Produces computer map products depicting contents of databases, Locates sources of GIS data
