Job summary

Dewberry is seeking a Senior Geospatial Analyst for its Tampa, FL or Fairfax, VA offices. The role focuses on GIS/IT and remote sensing projects for state and federal clients across the US, including script development and production QC. Remote work is considered based on experience.

The candidate should have extensive lidar and GIS expertise, strong communication, and the ability to mentor junior staff while delivering high-quality geospatial products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in imagery processing and lidar data classification.
• Strong GIS and lidar knowledge including raster/vector types and datums.
• Understanding of lidar production workflow and elevation products.
• Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS Pro and related tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Create scripts/models/macros for multiple sensor platforms.
• Lead data management and production QC in collaboration with IT and Operations.
• Provide QA, SOP updates, and drive process improvements.
• Analyze multi-sensor data and point clouds to support project deliverables.
• Offer technical guidance to automate production and QC processes.
• Mentor and train junior geospatial staff.
