Job summary

Performix is seeking a Senior Digital Solutions Architect to design, develop, and deploy industrial automation software solutions. The role focuses on Geo SCADA and AVEVA/Ignition platforms, with strong system integration and mentoring responsibilities.

You will lead SCADA design across manufacturing, energy, and utilities, while coordinating with clients and project managers. Remote work is possible in EST/CST hours to align with client needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a SCADA Architect focusing on Geo SCADA, AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA PI, and Ignition SCADA.
• Expertise with SCADA architectures, data modeling, and integration with PLC/RTU/SCADA systems.
• Experience with automation to improve UX and with system integration using OPC DA/UA, Modbus, DNP3, JSON, REST, and XML.
• Ability to create SQL databases and write custom SQL queries/logic.
• Create or modify PLC programs using Structured Text, Function Block Diagrams, and Ladder Logic.
• Experience managing multiple projects and collaborating with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop SCADA systems using Client Geo SCADA, AVEVA System Platform, AVEVA PI, and Ignition SCADA.
• Configure and program SCADA software to monitor and control varied industrial processes.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to translate requirements into solutions.
• Lead a project team, break down deliverables, and ensure quality standards.
• Mentor and coach other team members within Digital Solutions.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot SCADA software and PLCs for proper integration.
• Integrate SCADA with historians like AVEVA PI and AVEVA Historian for data analysis.
• Develop custom scripts in .NET, JavaScript, Python, or VBScript to enhance functionality.
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and upgrades; provide end-user support and training.
