Job summary

Collier Geophysics seeks a senior geophysics professional to lead analyses and manage geophysical projects. The role emphasizes field deployments, data acquisition oversight, and coordinating small teams in varied environments.

The right candidate will have a strong track record in seismic, electrical, or EM methods, plus hands-on instrument troubleshooting and data processing experience. Occasional travel and flexible hours are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geophysics or Geology with emphasis on geophysics; MS preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in geophysics fieldwork and project management.
• Physically active, able to lift up to 40 pounds and lead field teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead geophysical surveys and manage data acquisition for projects.
• Oversee field deployments and instrument troubleshooting in diverse terrains.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate small field teams.
• Travel for field campaigns with flexible hours during active work periods.
