We are seeking experienced marine seismic processing and depth imaging specialists (with 5+ years of industry experience) to join our growing project teams in delivering high-quality seismic services to the oil and gas industry. There is an opportunity for long-term career progression and increased responsibility as technical and project management skills develop.

The successful candidate must be highly motivated to work in a fast-paced, high-tech environment, capable of working independently with attention to detail, and demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills. They should have practical experience in seismic processing, ideally with depth imaging knowledge. Proficiency in implementing imaging workflows and understanding related technologies is essential. Experience with OBC or OBN is advantageous. The candidate should be skilled in client interactions and capable of QA/QC of team members’ work.

The role involves delivering top-quality products to internal and external stakeholders with minimal supervision. Experienced Geophysicists are expected to take on technical leadership within project teams, working closely with the Team Manager.

Responsibilities:
  1. Managing and ensuring quality control of geoscience data for seismic processing and depth imaging projects.
  2. Performing seismic time processing and depth imaging of 2D and 3D data, including designing processing flows, selecting parameters, and velocity interpretation.
  3. Managing production workflows, resolving issues during processing.
  4. Conducting QA/QC of workflows, results, software, and project documentation.
  5. Managing project timelines, preparing reports and presentations, and participating in meetings.
  6. Assisting with client relationship management and meetings.
  7. Supervising and mentoring junior staff.
  8. Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Team Leader.
Requirements:
  • BSc, MSc, or Ph.D. in Geophysics, Physics, Maths, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of practical experience in marine seismic processing/depth imaging.
  • Experience with OBC or OBN is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Linux/Unix and industry processing tools; basic scripting/programming skills.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
  • Organized, accurate, and deadline-oriented.
  • Must have permanent US work authorization.
