Job summary

Brice Engineering LLC is seeking a Geologist III to join our team in Salt Lake City, UT, with work spanning field inspections, data synthesis, and project documentation. You will mentor junior staff and coordinate with Project Managers and Technical Advisors to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geology, physical or environmental science, or environmental engineering.
• Seven to fifteen years of experience working on environmental projects.
• A broad understanding of federal, state, and local environmental regulations.
• Valid state driver’s license and qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Company’s Driving Policy.
• Ability to pass drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and oversee site inspections, assessments, investigations, and cleanups per guidelines.
• Work with environmental technicians and other staff in data collection and evaluation.
• Prepare technical evaluations of investigated sites.
• Provide guidance and oversight to project staff on documentation.
• Review and document environmental standards and regulations for proposals.
