Job summary

Strategic Employment Partners (SEP) in Santa Cruz seeks a senior licensed geologist or engineer who will write and stamp closure reports, with oversight of field activities and interaction with RWQCB, DTSC, and county LOPs. You will work directly with a hands-on principal geologist who reviews every report.

Active California PG or PE license is required (CHG/CEG a plus); 10+ years of senior experience in environmental investigation/remediation; strong writing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• CA PG or PE license required.
• 10+ years in environmental investigation and remediation.
• Strong technical writing.
• California oversight experience (Water Board, DTSC or LOP).
• PFAS or metals site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write and stamp CSMs, RAPs, soil management plans and closure requests.
• Oversee field work and liaise with regulatory agencies (RWQCB, DTSC, county LOPs).
• Collaborate with a hands-on principal geologist who reviews reports.
