Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology.
• 4+ years of relevant work experience in consulting or regulatory environment.
• Ability to obtain Professional Geologist License.
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Experience with ArcView/ArcPro.

Responsibilities

• Field data collection and analysis of soil, water, and other materials for environmental assessments.
• Collect and compile geographic information using GPS equipment.
• Develop plans, technical reports, and permit applications.
• Prepare maps utilizing GIS software.
• Coordinate with government agencies regarding regulatory requirements.
• Deliver presentations at public forums, conferences, and client meetings.
• Understand environmental regulations applicable to transportation and civil works projects.
• Limited travel required.
