Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Geologic Modeler to develop, maintain, and advance fit-for-purpose geological models that support resource growth and mine planning. You will integrate geological, geophysical, and geochemical data with field observations, delivering defensible interpretations.

Join a team collaborating with engineers, operations, and data scientists to ensure models meet business needs and timelines while advancing modeling workflows and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology, Earth Science, Geological Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum five years’ mining or exploration geology experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Leapfrog Geo and mining software.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams and lead where needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote Nevada Gold Mines’ Journey to Zero safety culture and values with emphasis on visible leadership and field time.
• Deliver high-priority geological model updates on schedule to support business needs.
• Conduct regular field visits to mentor teams and validate geological models.
• Communicate progress, risks, and opportunities to key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with mine and resource geologists to set modeling priorities aligned with operations.
