Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking a Geologic Modeler to develop, maintain, and advance geologic models that drive resource growth, mine planning, and operational excellence. This role integrates data from geology, geophysics, and geochemistry to deliver defensible interpretations.

You will work with mine/resource geologists, engineers, operations, and data scientists to ensure models meet business needs and timelines while improving modeling methods and understanding of orebodies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology or related field.
• Experience in mining or exploration geology preferred (5+ years).
• Proficient Leapfrog Geo modeling preferred.
• Ability to learn mining software and work in a team.
• Demonstrates leadership, collaboration, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Lead and promote safety culture and company values in the field.
• Deliver high-priority geological model updates on schedule.
• Conduct regular field visits to mentor teams and validate models.
• Collaborate with engineers and operations to align models with plans.
• Support optimization of the 5-year mine plan and communicate risks.
