Job summary

Solvarus Consulting, LLC is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to provide end-to-end SE&I services for national GEOINT systems. The role involves requirements engineering, solution design, and program leadership across NSG/ASG and federal agencies, including influencing senior stakeholders.

You will lead multi-stakeholder analyses, guide engineers, and work in a fast-paced government contracting environment. Active TS/SCI with poly or ability to obtain will be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or a related technical/scientific field; or equivalent experience (4 years with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree).
• 18+ years of experience in government or industry in relevant areas, including DoD/IC acquisition and systems engineering of large, complex Systems of Systems or SOA environments.
• Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Experience delivering briefings and technical papers to senior Government staff.
• Knowledge of NSG/ASG enterprises and NGA/NSG/ASG programs.
• Experience in IC or DoD programs/projects.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass polygraph.
• Experience leading multi-stakeholder programs and guiding engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Government in directing requirements engineering and system integration across NSG/ASG and federal agencies.
• Capture and translate mission needs into system requirements and technical solutions.
• Advise on solution design changes based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies.
• Lead analyses of alternatives, trade studies, and engineering assessments.
• Provide technical leadership and coordinate work across Senior, Mid-, and Junior engineers.
