Job summary

Collins Aerospace seeks an onsite Sr. Engineer at Beale AFB, CA to support the US Air Force DGFS GEOINT Field Service. You will monitor GEOINT systems, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with analysts and operators to ensure mission readiness in a dynamic, security-driven environment.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570.1 IAT II/IAM I certs, and extensive DCGS experience. You will engage across Linux/Windows, VMware/Docker stacks and cloud tools in a highly collaborative federal

Qualifications

RTX SkillBridge Internship completed.
STEM degree with 5+ years relevant experience or advanced degree with 3+ years.
Active DoD 8570.1 IAT II or IAM I certification.
Active TS/SCI/transferable clearance required before start.
Experience in systems administration and software management in a complex GEOINT environment.
Minimum 8 years experience in Air Force DCGS or similar environment.

Responsibilities

Provide direct mission support of airborne ISR and space-based operations.
Monitor, administer and troubleshoot GEOINT systems (Linux, Windows, ESXi Docker, Puppet).
Perform incident reporting and logistics during troubleshooting.
Support GEOINT post-upgrade efforts per TTPs and OIs.
Perform pre-mission configuration tasks and readiness testing.
Provide real-time GEOINT support to customer, operators and end-users.
Support Analyst Exploitation Teams with software workflow and configurations.
