Job summary

Collins Aerospace, an RTX business, seeks an onsite Lowband Journeyman to support US Air Force DCGS DSFS at Fort Meade. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance, DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II/IAM Level I certification, and extensive DCGS/COMINT experience.

Responsibilities include sensor management, incident response, and network/sensor troubleshooting. Responsibilities cover system readiness, data encryption changes, and post-upgrade support.

Qualifications

• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI clearance is required.
• Current DoD 8570.1 IAT Level II or IAM Level I certification (e.g., Security CE, CCNA Security, CySA, CAP).
• 7 years prior relevant DCGS experience.
• >=2 yrs of COMINT experience.
• >=7 years of Information System Security Management experience.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with minimum 5 years relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Manages multiple airborne sensors' processes and interfaces with sensors, sites, networks, and systems.
• Provides updates to sensor resources management processes.
• Provides management and ground support of multiple airborne SIGINT sensors and networks.
• Performs sensor troubleshooting and recommends updates to SW and networks.
• Provides SIGINT process and network improvements/recommendations.
• Responds to incident tickets and documents issues.
