Job summary

Culmen International, LLC seeks a Sr. Exploitation Specialist/Data Steward (TS/SCI) in Springfield, VA. You will coordinate with NGA stakeholders to transform datasets into data-driven solutions, applying GIS, big data analytics, and automation to support GEOINT content management.

You will lead design efforts, mentor teammates, and work across technical and mission-focused teams to deliver impactful insights for decision makers.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI Clearance with CI/Poly eligibility.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong working knowledge of Esri GIS solutions including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
• Senior-level proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Plotly, Dash).
• Understanding of GIS, data schemas, and geo-referencing.
• Knowledge of RDBMS architectures, data normalization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with enterprise geodatabases (SDEs) and ArcGIS tools.
• Familiarity with ontology concepts in information systems and data modeling.
• Strong collaboration skills across technical and mission-focused teams.
• Scripting knowledge in Python or R.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to understand questions and create data-driven solutions within program guidelines.
• Lead and participate in design of solutions and refinement of existing processes.
• Translate roadmap features into components/tasks with stakeholders and estimate timelines.
• Use exploratory data analysis to identify patterns in complex data.
• Combine mathematics, programming, and data to provide actionable insights for decision makers.
• Research and implement optimization models to inform data management.
• Apply big data analytic tools to large datasets to deliver insights.
• Conduct peer reviews to improve workflows, procedures, and methodologies.
• Mentor team members to increase technical skills and knowledge.
