Qualifications

  • Bachelor-level degree in geochemistry or related field with strong quantitative background.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional geochemistry/hydrogeochemistry experience.
  • Understanding of hydrology and groundwater/surface water interactions.
  • Experience with geochemical characterization methods and data interpretation.
  • Ability to develop conceptual models and integrate multi-disciplinary data.
  • Proficient in data management and statistical tools (Excel, Python, R).
  • Experience with geochemical modeling software (PHREEQC, GWB, GoldSim, MIN3P).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to mentor junior staff.

Responsibilities

  • Lead geochemical projects, including permitting, baseline studies, and remediation design.
  • Mentor junior staff and provide supervision on data analysis and reporting.
  • Develop conceptual and numerical models to describe fate and transport of constituents.
  • Plan and oversee lab and field programs; ensure data quality and interpretation.
  • Prepare technical reports, proposals, and client presentations.
