Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biochemistry, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on molecular biology research experience.
• Extensive experience with NGS library prep kits and Illumina platforms.
• Proficiency in bioinformatics for alignment, variant calling, and visualization.
• Strong fundamentals in genetics and genomics.
• Excellent problem-solving and written/verbal English communication.
• Experience with CRISPR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and conduct DNA/RNA isolation and library prep for NGS.
• Analyze large genomic datasets and interpret results.
• Develop new molecular protocols to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with bioinformaticians, geneticists, and clinicians.
• Maintain lab records and prepare reports and presentations.
• Troubleshoot experiments to ensure project continuity.
• Mentor junior researchers and train new staff.
• Stay updated on genomics advances.
