Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, genetics, or a related field is required.
• At least 1 year of undergraduate wet lab experience and ability to work with mouse models.
• Experience with PCR, DNA extraction, and laboratory safety protocols.
• Ability and motivation to learn new approaches and to analyze and present data; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Designing and performing PCR assays.
• Mouse husbandry and DNA extraction.
• Genotyping and library preparation for sequencing.
• Data analysis and preparation of results for presentation.
• Training of new lab members and supervision of undergraduates.
• Maintaining lab safety and compliance with animal protocols.
