Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Generative AI Engineer for a fully remote US role. You will design and operate fine‑tuning workflows for large language models, balancing data quality, compute budgets, and shipping velocity in production environments.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of ML research and engineering, deep experience with PyTorch, and a track record of delivering production‑grade AI systems, with strong communication across product and platform teams.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Computer Science, ML, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Six+ years of ML research and engineering with substantial LLM exposure.
• Proficient in Python and PyTorch with hands-on fine-tuning experience.
• Experience with distributed training strategies (FSDP, ZeRO, pipeline parallelism).
• Familiarity with RLHF, DPO, or other preference optimization techniques.
• Strong evaluation design and ability to ship production‑grade ML solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute fine-tuning experiments for large language models using supervised, DPO, RLHF, and related techniques.
• Lead dataset construction, curation, and quality assurance for instruction tuning and preference data.
• Build scalable training pipelines on top of modern distributed training frameworks.
• Tune hyperparameters and training stability strategies for large‑model fine‑tuning.
• Implement parameter‑efficient fine‑tuning methods such as LoRA and adapter‑based approaches.
• Design rigorous evaluation suites including automated benchmarks and human evaluation.
• Operate large‑scale training jobs on GPU clusters and recover training state reliably.
• Collaborate with product, research, and platform teams to align roadmaps with business needs.
• Document training methodology and results for technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Mentor engineers on fine‑tuning best practices and responsible deployment.
