Job summary

InterImage is seeking engineers to transform Generative AI concepts into production systems. You will design, develop, deploy, and continuously improve AI-powered applications for mission-critical customers in Azure.

Requirements include Top Secret clearance, 5+ years in software development, and 2+ years building AI/ML apps with LLMs. Strong Python, API, and cloud-native skills desired.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years developing Generative AI or ML applications.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with LLMs such as GPT, Llama, Claude, Mistral or similar.
• Experience building APIs using FastAPI, Flask, or similar frameworks.
• Experience deploying cloud-native apps in Microsoft Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevSecOps.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and build Generative AI applications using commercial/open-source LLMs.
• Develop production-ready software from proof-of-concept.
• Architect RAG solutions using vector databases and enterprise data sources.
• Build intelligent agents and AI workflows with automation and decision support.
• Develop REST APIs and backend services for AI apps.
• Deploy scalable AI solutions in Azure environments.
• Design cloud-native architectures using Azure AI Services, AKS, Functions, and Storage.
• Create CI/CD pipelines for rapid AI deployment and model iteration.
• Integrate AI into existing enterprise apps and mission systems.
• Evaluate emerging AI tech and prototype new capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Optimize model performance, latency, scalability, security, and cost.
• Implement responsible AI, prompt engineering, guardrails, and evaluation techniques.
