Qualifications

• Exposure to image processing tools (e.g., Photoshop) and 3D modeling/animation tools (Blender, Maya).
• Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and deploying generative image models in the Azure cloud.
• Support training and fine-tuning models using internal datasets (plant images, equipment designs, marketing assets).
• Develop and refine prompt engineering techniques to improve output quality, consistency, and realism.
• Perform image preprocessing and post-processing (background cleanup, resizing, enhancement, quality correction).
• Collaborate with engineering and marketing teams to translate requirements into AI-assisted visual outputs.
• Help establish repeatable workflows for AI-driven image generation (batch processing, template generation, reuse of assets).
• Assist in integrating AI image capabilities into existing tools and platforms (e.g., web apps, Power Platform, internal tools).
• Support testing and validation of generated images for technical accuracy and visual quality
• Document processes, datasets, and model performance to ensure reproducibility and governance compliance
• Stay current on advancements in generative AI and model optimization techniques

About The Role

We are seeking a Junior AI Developer with a focus on AI Generative Images to support the development of AI-driven image generation capabilities. This role will focus on creating, refining, and operationalizing AI models that generate realistic and technical imagery for various applications.

You will work closely with engineering, marketing, business development, and digital teams to develop AI solutions that can generate visual representations of industrial equipment, plant layouts, and conceptual designs. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Basic experience with Python and AI/ML libraries
• Familiarity with machine learning concepts (training, inference, model evaluation)
• Exposure to image processing tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop) and 3D modeling / animation platforms (e.g., Blender, Autodesk Maya)
• Understanding of cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to generative AI models (e.g., diffusion models, GANs, or transformer-based image generation)
• Experience with Stable Diffusion, ControlNet, or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with GPU-based computing environments (local or cloud-based)
• Basic understanding of prompt engineering techniques
• Experience working with image datasets (labeling, cleaning, augmentation)
• Exposure to version control (Git) and development workflows
• Familiarity with Azure services such as Azure AI, Azure ML, or virtual machines
• Familiarity with industrial or power generation plant layouts, components, and systems
• Experience with engineering 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, AVEVA E3D)
