Job summary

ZipStaff is seeking a Senior Generative AI Engineer to build production AI for smart-building and industrial-control products. You will ship LLM/GenAI features and help the team adopt AI-assisted development. This is a hands-on product + platform role, not purely research or prompts.

Must have 7+ years in software engineering, 5+ years deploying ML, and strong Python with PyTorch/TensorFlow/Scikit-learn. On-site in Glendale, WI required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI/ML and GenAI capabilities across cloud, edge, and on-prem.
• Develop LLM-powered features and natural-language interfaces.
• Integrate AI into existing smart-building products and platforms.
• Build scalable inference and deployment architectures for production AI.
• Mentor engineers on AI frameworks and governance.
• Set AI engineering standards and drive responsible AI use across SDLC.
