Job summary

EXL is seeking a Vice President L1, Senior AI Forward Deployed Engineer to lead GenAI client initiatives and architect scalable AI solutions for Fortune 500 clients. You will guide cross‑functional teams, collaborate with data science, technology, and client teams, and translate complex AI concepts into strategic business outcomes.

The role requires deep experience in AI deployment, stakeholder management, and thought leadership with a strong consulting background.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, AI, or a related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of AI/ML experience with leadership roles in solution architecture and delivery.
• Experience consulting or working with enterprise clients and multi-stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale Generative and Agentic AI projects from conception to deployment.
• Engage senior client stakeholders (including C-suite) to define scope and opportunities.
• Mentor data scientists and AI engineers in best practices for AI development and MLOps.
• Drive technical leadership in AI architecture and cross-functional delivery.
